•  Explicit, systematic and sequential skills are taught clearly and directly with cumulative student practice and review in a positive, engaging environment.​

• Diagnostic-prescriptive approach, using proven teaching methodology, such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Project Read,  Landmark School Expressive Langauge Training, EmPOWER Writing methodology, and others to meet the individual needs of each student.

• Directly address core weaknesses in phonological skills, decoding, and spelling.

• Instruction in higher levels of literacy, such as vocabulary, text comprehension and broad language aspects of written expression.

• Administer diagnostic assessments and summative assessments using both nationally normed standardized instruments and tools geared toward the academic curriculum.
